A trip planner should feel like a person, not a portal.

Amritsar Airport Cab was started in Amritsar with a simple idea: one person should own your entire trip — from the enquiry email to the drive back to the airport. Seven years later, that's still how we work.

Our story

Built in Amritsar. Run by people who know the routes.

We started small — a couple of vehicles, a phone number, and a promise to answer it. Most enquiries in those first years were for the Amritsar  →  Vaishno Devi run, or a Golden Temple day tour. Word spread. Families started asking for full Himachal trips. Then Kashmir. Then Ladakh.

Today Amritsar Airport Cab plans trips across four states, but the promise hasn't changed: one person owns your trip. Sukhbir Singh runs client planning. He picks up the phone, plans your itinerary, sends confirmations, and stays on WhatsApp while you're on the road. When you land at Amritsar airport at 1am, the driver is there because the person who booked him is awake.

We don't run a call centre. We run a family business.

How we work

Three things we insist on.

These aren't features. They're constraints we chose — the reason the business works the way it does.

01 · Ownership

One point of contact

You get one WhatsApp number for the whole trip. Not a ticketing system. If your flight is delayed at midnight, the same person who quoted you the trip is the one who tells the driver to wait.

02 · Vehicles

Cars we maintain, drivers we know

Our fleet is owned or on long-term contract. Drivers know mountain routes — that matters on the Rohtang, Zoji La and Chang La. No last-minute "adjustments" with a random cab.

03 · Hotels

Rooms we've slept in

Every partner hotel is one we've stayed at. When we say "ask for a valley-facing room on the second floor" — we mean a specific room. We update the list every season.

Where we operate

Four states, one team.

These are the regions we know well enough to plan for. Anything outside them, we won't take on — it wouldn't be fair to say yes.

About us · frequently asked

More about how we work.

How long has Amritsar Airport Cab been operating?

Amritsar Airport Cab has been planning North India trips out of Amritsar . We started with Amritsar–Vaishno Devi runs and Golden Temple day tours, and gradually added Himachal, Kashmir and Ladakh as travellers asked for more.

How do you operate without a physical office?

Amritsar Airport Cab is a service-first business without a walk-in office. Everything happens over WhatsApp, phone and email — quotes, bookings, changes, on-trip support. Our vehicles and drivers are Amritsar-based, so pickups from ATQ airport, the Golden Temple area, or anywhere in the city are 15-30 minutes away. This model keeps our costs lean and our rates competitive.

Are your drivers verified and experienced with mountain roads?

Yes. Every driver holds a valid commercial licence, has been with us or on long-term contract, and has driven the mountain routes we send them on — Rohtang, Atal Tunnel, Zoji La, Chang La. This matters more than people realise on hill trips.

Do you handle international travellers?

Yes. We regularly host travellers from the UK, US, Canada, Australia and the Middle East — mostly on Golden Temple, Kashmir and Ladakh itineraries. English-speaking drivers and detailed pre-trip briefings are standard for international bookings.

Do you have GST registration and provide proper invoices?

Yes. Amritsar Airport Cab is a GST-registered service provider. Every booking is invoiced with a GSTIN, which is useful for corporate travel and offsite reimbursements.
